Liquid Face Lift

A Liquid Face Lift is a non-surgical procedure that can provide a mild lifting and contouring of facial features.  It is used by plastic surgeons, dermatologists and other medical practitioners as a substitute for, or in addition to, plastic surgery.  A liquid face lift technique will usually not provide the dramatic results of cosmetic surgery, but will provide a more subtle result.  After a liquid face lift procedure, friends and colleagues will notice that you look better, but will not usually think that you have had a medical procedure.

A Liquid Face Lift can be undertaken for the entire face or for a portion of the face.  The non surgical procedure can restore natural, curved dimensions that the face may lose over time.  It also provides a more natural, rested look.  The procedure is often used in conjunction with cosmetic surgery to help restore the third dimension of the face that is not typically restored with cosmetic surgery.

Some individuals utilize a non-surgical Liquid Face Lift procedure to lift the entire face.  Others undergo the procedure to lift or contour specific facial features.  Liquid Face Lift products and procedures may be used to accomplish a number of objectives when it comes to facial contouring and lifting.

For example, bags can be masked under the eyes by using Liquid Facelift techniques; eyes can be opened up and lids lifted; jowls can be lifted and diminished; natural shape can be restored to flattened cheeks or temple areas; corners of the mouth can be lifted; as well as several other facial feature benefits.

A non-surgical Liquid Face Lift involves the use of advanced dermal fillers, usually in combination with BOTOX®.  The dermal fillers used are among a group of 2nd generation dermal fillers that provide more enduring results than earlier products.  The new group of 2nd generation, advanced dermal fillers includes Juvederm® Ultra, Juvederm® Ultra Plus, Radiesse®, Restylane®, Perlane® and Sculptra®.

Each of these dermal fillers has unique attributes that work in their own special way to contour specific areas of the face.  In general, dermal fillers replace lost volume in the face or help the body regenerate its own collagen.  Precisely placed, the dermal fillers can be used to lift or contour any number of facial features.

It is common for patients who have had Liquid Face Lift procedures to say that they receive compliments on their appearance without others knowing that they have done anything.  In some instances, the results can be so uplifting that they change an individual’s life.  As with any cosmetic medical procedure, results vary from patient to patient.
